What Products or Services does your business provide?

Battle Ground Natural Healing is a holistic wellness store in Battle Ground, WA that specializes in CBD and other non-intoxicating minor cannabinoids. We offer the most affordable, highest-quality CBD products, supplements, and pet care products on the market. We pride ourselves on only providing products that are organic and locally sourced. Our large selection of CBD and minor cannabinoid products include oils, tinctures, capsules, edibles, salves, lotions, and products for pets. We also offer a wide variety of other holistic services and products including organic mushroom supplements, personal care products, vitamin supplements, sound healing, crystals, and more!

What types of advertising are you currently doing, and what types of advertising have been most successful for you in the past?

Coupons on Safeway receipts, SM posting, Emails, and full-page ad with articles by me and coupons in a local coupon magazine. The coupon clipper (which does not exist since covid) did the best for me and word of mouth.

Tell us about your employees.

2 besides myself. Baylen has been here since July of 2020. He is extremely knowledgeable in biochemistry and is wonderful at educating our customers.

What is the story behind your business?

I used to work as a surgical assistant in Mohs Surgery at Providence. I suffered from severe anxiety with little relief from pharmaceuticals. A friend gave me some CBD to try and I was amazed at how much it helped me and with no side effects. At that time it was not available locally other than at the Cannabis clubs. Using cannabis products was not an option for me due to my career at the time. That is when I decided I wanted to open a store locally for people to buy quality affordable CBD products without THC. Today I help my customers with conditions ranging from autism, seizure disorders, to chronic pain, anxiety, sleep, diabetes, and more. Owning a CBD store has always had its challenges. It has been very difficult to get bank accounts, merchant services, and insurance. When we find companies willing to work with us the price is exponentially more than it is for other retailers. There is also a lot of misinformation and stigma around CBD. So it took a lot of educating the community. We have worked very hard to be where we are today, but it was all worth it because we have been able to help so many people live better lives naturally without prescription drugs.

Tell a story about a great customer experience.

I have so many great customer experiences that touch me every day but my favorite is a customer that has a son with autism. She told me one day that coming to my store has been life-changing for both her and her son. After coming to our store and getting our assistance with the right products her son is now able to communicate, think clearer, sleep better, make friends because he no longer has anxiety and all in all just enjoy life now.

Explain why a customer should consider your business instead of going to a competitor.

We pride ourselves on not only carrying excellent products but also being extremely knowledgeable about our products and how to help our customers. I consult with a doctor that specializes in treating patients with CBD, as well as offer many free educational classes for the community.

What extra services do you offer that people might not know about?

We also offer sound therapy. Some of the many benefits of sound therapy include balancing the nervous system, endocrine system, and organs. It also relieves stress, anxiety, alleviates pain and inflammation, promotes healing of muscles, tendons, and ligaments, improves sleep, mental health and so much more!
