Waived Fees & Freebies

Gift Up! is waiving fees for the first $5000 of gift cards issued or sold. Kabbage Payments has integrated with Facebook to sell and promote online gift certificates. Google is offering $340 million in ad credits for small and medium businesses world-wide. Facebook is offering $100 Million in grants and ad credits. Yelp is waiving advertising fees and offering free advertising services. Kangaroo is offering 3 months of free security equipment for business owners who cannot physically be at their offices. PandaDoc is offering a free e-sign plan. Square is waiving all software subscription fees for the month of March and April for existing sellers. DoorDash is waiving or reducing commissions for merchants. They are also offering a $200 marketing credit to help boost sales.

Lend a Hand

If you’ve been wanting to help small businesses but don’t know where to start, here are some ways to help. The James Beard Foundation is providing micro-grants to independent food and beverage businesses. The National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation is offering grants for employees in the restaurant industry. Purchase a limited-edition Guy Fieri “Flavortown” cooler and 100% of the profits will go to the Restaurant Employee Relief Fund to support restaurant workers.
