What Products or Services does your business provide?

Golden Hill Nursing and Rehabilitation is a 280-bed skilled nursing facility located in scenic Ulster County in the city of Kingston, NY. We offer subacute nursing and rehabilitation services as well as long-term and dementia nursing care.

What types of advertising are you currently doing, and what types of advertising have been most successful for you in the past?

We currently utilize radio, social media, and some limited print advertising. Radio and print advertising have been the best so far.

Are there any certifications, awards, or media recognition that your business has received?

We are the only CMS rated 5-star facility in Ulster County and have been ranked in the top 50 Nursing Homes in New York State by Newsweek. We have also received the gold star award from the New York State Facilities Association.

Tell us about your employees.

Golden Hill has over 300 employees and though it initially started as an Ulster County run facility, some of the original staff are still working. This year we are recognizing several employees with over 30 years of service to the residents of our community.

Tell a story about a great customer experience.

She arrived at the facility in a catatonic state with a feeding tube, unable to walk, stand, or even speak. A year and a half later, she was able to discharge to an assisted living facility as a vibrant member of the Golden Hill community. The rehabilitation and progress she was able to achieve during her stay is the ultimate testament to the combined efforts of the facility’s entire staff.
